Adventured Continue
I'm writing from a hostel in Rio Gallegos. That's right. Not at all where I had planned to go. I should have taken the early flight from Tucumàn but I didn't want to wake up at 4 or 5. Instead my plane to Buenos Aires later that day was delayed from pilot strikes in BA. I ended up getting there after the flight to El Calafate had left. I spent the day in and around the airport, met a nice couple from Australia who just retired and are traveling for 6 months, and left at 11pm to Rio Gallegos. Laura, the gal from Canada living in Tucuman, helped me reserve a spot at a hostel here. I got in about 3:30am. I slept until 7 and then went to the bus station to try to find a bus. There isn't a direct one but I'm going to Rio Turbio at noon. It gets there around 4 and then Andria says it's only 30 minutes then in another bus to Puerto Natales. I'm hoping it works out!
